I happen to run across this video, I don't agree with what he was saying about the new generation. Everything else he was yapping about was correct, but nigga that ain't true about the new generation not giving a fuck about the legends that paved the way. Cuz I know damn well I respect all of them, BUSY BEE, SUGARHILL GANG, MARLEY MARL, KOOL MOE DEE, LL COOL J, PUBLIC ENEMY, FUNKY 4+1 <<< Half of ya'll don't even know who funky 4+1 is. C'mon I'm a youngin and I know about the old school DANA DANE, SLICK RICK, DOUG E. FRESH, RUN DMC, MC LYTE, NWA, BIG DADDY KANE ... I think you catch my drift about now. All I'm saying I saw a video with Charles Hamilton and Joe Budden getting into it with each other about who is better LL COOL J or KRS-ONE. I most def think the new generation pay's homage, Asher Roth had a interview talking about Pharoe Monch being underestimated and REDMAN too. So don't automatically say the new school doesn't respect because the old school paved the way and without them Hip-Hop wouldn't be here. POINT, BLANK, PERIOD...
